The course is designed to enable Masters and Watch keeping Officers to develop their existing knowledge, understanding and skills of the behaviour and handling of ships in normal operations and during challenging condition i.e. with help from pilot. This will be achieved through a concentrated period of exercises on a full scale simulator bridge, supported by a programme of lectures and instruction.

The course is designed to enable personnel on both STBL (ship to be lightered) and SS(service ship) to increase their existing knowledge and understanding of the basic and advanced ship handling issues with emphasis on ship to ship interaction.
The course will give navigators on the supply vessel (PSV), basic knowledge, understanding and skills in relation to supply contracts and maneuvering under various weather and environmental conditions.
