DP simulator

For DP “stand alone” training SMSC operates a dedicated classroom, equipped with a single DP system for the theoretical walkthrough.
The hands-on part of the training is carried out in a separate facility mounted with three redundant / double DP systems.

The DP systems are connected to SMSC ship simulators, which allows training on “real scenarios” on a variety of vessels.
An integrated conning display allows the change between manual manoeuvring and DP operation.

A visual system is also installed in order to provide more life-like simulations.

SMSC can also tailor specific vessel types and –operations to suit your specific training needs.
