Our Facilities

SMSC presently has a total of 6 ship simulators. Three of them are full scale, full mission simulators with complete bridge and state of the art visual systems. We also have a compact type simulator and two simulators specifically design dynamic position (DP) training. The core of a simulator is the mathematical model of a simulated ship. SMSC is so confident about the quality of our models that we only have named ships in our simulator, presently over 60 documented models (pilot cards).
All our simulated ship models are quality tested by the captain of the actual ship to ensure that the simulated model behaves exactly like the original.
